The efficient dynamics technology of BMW cars is popular among customers who want excellent fuel economy along with lower emissions. Car lovers don’t have to compromise their driving experience in an attempt to save fuel.

The Green car awards 2009 has recognized the MINI Cooper S as the Green sports car and BMW 318d as the Green executive car. The MINI Cooper S has won the title for the second consecutive time.

Among the various sports car, the MINI Cooper S has advantages over fuel efficiency. Fewer carbon emissions of the MINI Cooper has made the car win the title. The MINI Cooper is essentially a sports car with exciting looks and great performance. Compared to the rivals, the Cooper is faster and more stylish. It is proven again that it is not possible to find another car that matches the performance and fuel efficiency of the MINI Cooper.

BMW 318d is the least polluting car in the 3 series. The performance figures of the 318d attracted the Green car awards jury. Moreover, this performance was achieved with fewer emissions and at greater fuel efficiency. While many people think that luxury cars don’t care about fuel consumption, the 318d has proved that even those who like luxury cars like to save money on fuel.
This rare blend of impressive performance and environment friendly behavior has resulted in the title given to BMW 318d.

Efficient dynamics technology was started in 2007 by the BMW company. This technology was built on lightweight engineering and direct injection engine. This revolutionized the way BMW cars were made. All the cars built using this technology are fuel efficient with good performance figures.

BMW And Rolls Royce

Filed under: luxury — admin @ 1:15 pm

The German manufacturer has an association with English bred cars when it bought out Rover and it subsidiaries several years ago and the luxury car maker Rolls Royce. At the time the news that BMW was going to buy Rolls Royce did not go down well as Volkswagen appeared to have a better deal on the table , but the fact the BMW already supplied engines for the models, seemed to seal the deal.

This all occurred around 1998 and the ownership of a major car manufacturer renowned for quality engineer has guaranteed the success of Rolls Royce. However the car that was once deemed as the best car in the world and oozes luxury from hand made panels to the seats that several cows have to die to provide the leather is not in fashion anymore with those who believe the car is there only to show off your wealth, something not deemed as appropriate in the current economic climate. We could write a whole novel on every piece of craftsmanship and design that goes in to every vehicle, most of it beyond the imagination of the normal driver and aimed only at those who want the best, irrelevant of the cost.

Because of this most cars find themselves going abroad to oil rich countries and the USA. In terms of practicality though, these vehicles do not score highly. Try to find a parking space in London and you will be struggling, although some would say, if you can afford a Rolls Royce it is very likely you have your own property to park it. BMW always made quality cars, but at a practical level, owning Rolls Royce has meant they can apply quality engineering to both sectors.
