Auto express is the biggest motoring magazine looked at by car manufacturers and car experts. Two BMW cars have been awarded the best car awards in their own class. These high profile awards from one of the biggest UK motoring magazines have once again proved the efficiency of BMW cars.
To select the best cars, a panel consisting of car experts from Auto Express worked on assessing latest cars introduced for sales in the UK. Among heavy competition, the BMW 3 series saloon was awarded the ‘Best compact executive car’ and the BMW 3 series convertible was recognized as the ‘Best convertible car’. The superior dynamics and excellent driving performance has made BMW won these high accolades.
The petrol and diesel versions of the models along with excellent design and performance left its competitors behind. Both the saloon and convertible cars possessed excellent features, many of which were absent in other cars of the same kind. Sharp handling and rear wheel drive chassis are the specialties of BMW 3 series cars and the saloon and convertible contain these superior functionalities. Grip and balance of the convertible is excellent. Apart from these, the options of various engine ranges provide an opportunity for drivers to choose a car of their choice.
Along with the wins, various other BMW cars were all praised in their respective categories. The well acclaimed models include BMW Z4, 3 series coupe, 7 series, 5 series saloon, mini JCW and X6. The Auto Express experts team specifically mentioned these cars as great cars and that they missed the honor very closely.
